Last December 10th, the last ordinary assembly 2020 of this Association was held in San Miguel de Allende. We were accompanied virtually by the Rest. Luz de Lourdes Herbert Pesquera, Director of World Heritage of INAH; Arturo Balandrano Campos, General Director of Sites and Monuments; Valeria Valero Pié, National Coordinator of Historical Monuments of INAH and Frédéric Vacheron, Representative of UNESCO in Mexico. The work of the Assembly concentrated on the periodic reports of the state of conservation and management that the cities must elaborate for the following year.
The municipal presidents expressed their commitment to best comply with this international commitment and they are grateful for the accompaniment that will be given and the close collaboration with national and international authorities in this matter.
Likewise, the election of the President and Vice President of this Association for the period of 2021 took place, with these positions falling on Guanajuato City and Mexico City respectively.
