The Plaza de Toros San Pedro was founded on September 15, 1866, this bullring witnessed the performance of bullfighters such as Bernardo Gabiño, Lino Zamora, Epifanio del Río, Ponciano Díaz, the Spanish Luis Mazantini and Rodolfo Gaona, celebrating their last bullfight in 1975.
By 1989 it reopened its doors as a hotel and the San Pedro bullring was suitable for the enjoyment of suites, always keeping a baroque style, for which the hotel has an exceptional value and is catalogued as the most beautiful hotel in Mexico and also won the International Architecture Award for preserving the original structure.
The suites are located around a beautiful patio, with a charming fountain, while the restaurant and bar are located on the banks of the Ruedo. The old bullring, which has been converted into a beautiful colonial style courtyard, paved and decorated with abundant flowers. It is one of the most charming and romantic corners of the city.
