Since 2010, China has positioned itself as the tourism issuer market with the highest spending capacity (around 258,000 million dollars) and with the greatest potential for growth, since only 10% of the citizens of this country travel abroad, a percentage that will increase (it is estimated that in 2030 there will be 250 million Chinese tourists).
Among the preferences of Chinese tourists, there is a “tendency towards emotional tourism”, which means an opportunity to capture part of this tourism through the sites declared World Heritage by UNESCO; for that reason, that during the participation of the Mexican World Heritage Cities in the 44th edition of the Tourism Tianguis, the Mtro. Ulises Mejía Haro and Mtro. Jorge Ortega Gonzáles President and General Director of this Association, held a talk with the excellent ambassador of China in Mexico, Qiu Xiaoqi.
