The Historic Center of the city of Durango has 747 buildings classified as historic by the INAH, being the most rich in northern Mexico, in addition to being part of the cultural itinerary of the Camino Real de Tierra Adentro, declared as Cultural Heritage of the Humanity for UNESCO.
