In the space previously occupied by the Xochimilco Ceremonial Center, the roundabout was built with the purpose of paying homage to Fernando Celada, Quirino Mendoza, Juan Badiano, Francisco Goitia and José Farías Galindo.
Its architecture is modern with gardens designed for relaxation, which highlights a high wall that bears the text of the Royal Certificate granted by King Philip II of Spain, which is named Xochimilco Noble City and Leal.
